Virginia Pauline (Gleason) Renzelman born February 23, 1930 to Lloyd and Mary Gleason in Beecher Island, Colorado and was the 2nd of six children.
Ginger married her true love, Clarence Renzelman on January 7, 1946 and to this union were born six children, Rodney, Terry, Debby, Jimmy, Wendy and Stacy. Her family was the greatest love of her life.
In her youth, Ginger worked several odd jobs, and her sister, Dorothy said she was quite a charmer. In 1981, she opened her own used furniture store called “Gingers” which she had for eight years. She had a love of furniture, a wonderful gift of gab and a great knack for decorating.
Ginger was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Renzelman, brothers, Kenny, George, and Marvin, granddaughter, Jodie and nephew, Gary Lee Gleason.
She is survived by her children, Rodney Renzelman of Haigler, Nebraska; Terry Renzelman & wife, Leigh of Parker, Colorado, Debby Pickett & husband, Paul of Amarillo, Texas, Jimmy Renzelman & wife, Joy of Guymon, Oklahoma, Wendy Douglass of Amarillo, Texas, and Stacy Telck & husband, Jeff of Amherst, Colorado and sister, Dorothy Juranek of Wray, Colorado, brother, Ronnie Gleason & wife, Gladys of Brush, Colorado, twenty-two grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held at the First Presbyterian Church in Wray, Colorado on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Paul Folk officiating. Interment was held in the Grandview Cemetery in Wray, Colorado. Memorials may be made to the Virginia Renzelman Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 157, Haigler, Nebraska 69030. Spellman-Schmidt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
