Thomas Arthur Quiggle (TQ) was born to Robert Dale Quiggle and Alice (Butch) Drummond on August 22, 1947. He grew up in Wray Colorado. Tom graduated from Wray High School in 1965 where he participated in football, wrestling and baseball. He traveled all over the country exploring the livestock business.
In 1982, he married Kathy whom he considered the love of his life. She brought three children to the union: Sarah, Stacie and Bryon. They proceeded to have two more children, Wade and Kendra.
Tom later formed the TQ Cattle Company. He had gotten the love of order buying trading cattle from his dad and grandfather. He traveled many places for his work including Elko, Nevada and Loma , Colorado. Tom loved attending the yearly Bucking Horse Sale at Miles City, Montana. He also pursued his love of auctioneering. He volunteered at many charity auctions over the years where many people won bids without ever raising their hand.
Tom was an amazing grill master and often hosted family and friends for delicious meals. Tom passionately supported his children and grandchildren. He once got escorted out of a basketball game for disagreeing with the referees.
He survived by his wife of 42 years, Kathy Quiggle. His children, Sarah Srsen, Stacie Eckhardt, Bryon Axt, Wade Quiggle and Kendra Quiggle. His grandchildren, Alex Eckhardt, Luke Srsen, Brandon Eckhardt, Dane Srsen, Caeleigh Eckhardt, Danielle Eckhardt, Rylan Axt and Avery Axt. His great grandchildren: Beckett Hardesty, Alice Eckhardt and Thomas Eckhardt.
Tom passed away on Monday March 3rd surrounded by friends and family. A celebration of life will be held on April 26th at the Wray Elks Club from 4 to 8 pm. Tom was a great storyteller. His family is looking forward to hearing yours.
