Stephanie Ann Schneider was born in Julesburg on September 21, 1973 and left us to join her heavenly Father on April 15, 2014. Stephanie was the first born daughter of Robert and Barbara (Dye) Schneider and the oldest sister of Robin, Curtiss, and Jed.

In 1977, Steph and her parents moved to Wray, She started her education at Dixie’s daycare and received her primary and secondary education in the Wray school district. Steph took piano lessons from Betty Finn and performed several recitals. She played the clarinet during her junior high years. But cooking was her passion and she so enjoyed her classes with Mrs. Wilson. One of the classes had a child care program and she enjoyed picking up Jed and taking him to school during the morning class. She was also a member of FCCLA and FBLA and enjoyed a trip to the national convention in Washington, D.C.

After graduating from WHS, she moved to Greeley to attend AIMS Community College, receiving an Associate Degree in computer information systems. In 1998, Steph moved to Denver where she worked at several large corporations in the Help Desk department. She made friends with many people across the nation. They always remarked that they were glad that Steph answered their call. She had such a cheerful outlook on every situation.

As Steph grew older she developed a love for reading books, genealogy research and spending time with family and friends. Her laughter was enjoyed by all.

Steph was older than her siblings by six years or more and enjoyed each one when they entered her life. She treated each one as if they were the most special thing on earth. Robin, Curtiss, and Jed had very special memories of the times they spent with Steph. Family holiday times were always a delight as Steph made the best apple pie and melt in your mouth sugar cookies.
