Ronald Shawn Miller

Ronald Shawn Miller was born September 7, 1962 in Meeker, Colorado, the son of Ronald and Gail Miller, step brother to Kevin, Mark, and step sister Kristen Muri Lund and half-brother to Erich, Eron and Ethan.

Shawn, as everyone knew him, graduated from Berthoud, Colorado High School in 1980 where he enjoyed raising and showing Dairy cattle and sheep in 4-H.

In 1993 Shawn married Barbara Simms. To this union were born Alexandra, Ashlynne, Zachariah, & Matthew.

In 2010 Shawn married Renee Renzelman, adding to his family Brittany and Brandon.

Shawn’s work interests involved heating and air conditioning, taking pride in being the best at what he did and he took special pride in the landscaping of his home and property.

His hobbies included spending time at Lake McConaughy, collecting guns and spending time with family and friends.

Preceding Shawn in death were his brother Ean, grandparents Dorothy and Glenn Miller, Marian and Louis Reagle, Glenn and Vera Rockwell, Uncle Glenn Miller and Father-in-Law Argil Renzelman.

Survivors include his wife Renee; Children Alexandra, Ashlynne, Zachariah, Matthew Miller, Brittany and Brandon Zink; Mother Gail Reagle Muri of Yuma; Father and Stepmother Ronald and Linda Miller of Burlington, Wisconsin; Mother-in-law Berna Renzelman, brother-and sister-in-law Doug and Robin Renzelman. Brothers Kevin and Mark; Step-sister Kristen Muri Lund; Half-brothers Eric and wife Megan, Eron and wife Jessica, and Ethan; Numerous other family and friends.

Memorial Service was held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Yuma, Colorado, 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2016 with Reverend Timothy Davis presiding.

Schmidt-Jones Funeral Home of Wray, Colorado is overseeing the service. Burial will take place at the Yuma Cemetery.
