Robert “Bob” 0. Blazer was born March 14, 1937 in Lebanon, Oregon to Howard 0. and Ada Frances (Poppen) Blazer. He passed away at the age of 75 on August 6, 2012.
Bob served in the Navy and enjoyed traveling the sea and seeing the world. A love for traveling grew to be a passion for Bob. Bob spent many years in Las Vegas, as a bar owner. While he was there he purchased his best f riend ”Rusty”, his Golden Retriever. Bob loved being around fami ly and lived a very full, adventurous life!
He will be missed by his daughter; Darla Dowd & husband, Richard Patak, grandchildren; Tommy, Karissa, and Bob bi Anne, great grandchild; Al ayna, sister, Viola Wall, and brothers, Dewayne & wife, Jane, and Harold & wife, Bonnie.
Proceeding him in death was a sister, Arlene McCracken, his mother and father, Ada and H.O. “Slim” Blazer, and brother in law Ed Wall.
Bob will be very missed, but never forgotten!
Funeral services were held on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Spellman -Schmidt Funeral Home, 427 Adams Street, Wray, Colorado with Rev. Norman Stott off iciating. Interment was held in the Glendale Cemetery in Vernon, Colorado.
Spellman -Schmidt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
