Her six grandchildren, Elizabeth Brassfield and Brian of Chappell, Ne, Jenna Waddingham and Brad of Lincoln, Ne, Patrick Brueggeman and Shannon of Big Springs, Ne, Jacob and Gabriella Selby of Gladstone, Mo, Amber Brown of Cleburne, TX and Matthias Willig of Albuquerque, Nm; great-grandchildren, Lily and Brynlee Waddingham and Grayson Brueggeman. Her siblings, Barbara Martin of Phoenix, Az, Mark Ramseier of Idalia, Co and Jo Ann Scotten of Nevada, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Justin Selby and her grandson Andrew Selby.

Pat grew up, finished high school and started her family in Wray, CO.  In 1986 She moved to Goodland, Kansas where she met and married Phillip Willig on May 1, 1993.

She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and doting on her pets but most of all she loved spending time with her grandkids and her great grandkids. She would say she loved spending time with her adult children as well, but we all know that for the most part we were a real pain in her butt. 😊 She loved music and was known to sing off key most of the time. Always had a laugh, a smart remark and a secret. She loved surprising the people she adored.

She has a bookcase full of photo albums of family and friends.

Her sense of humor was as big as her heart and her heart was huge.

Even in her darkest hours, Pat’s steadfast faith in the Lord and her belief in the reward helped her support and encourage herself and her family to move forward.  Some of her favorite verses were ones like

Proverbs 3:5 – Trust the Lord with all your heart.  And Hebrews 11:1 – Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
