Michael Pletcher, was born September 21, 1988 to Wayne Pletcher and Janet (Walker) Ivins in Sterling, Colorado.
He grew up in Eckley, and in the 4th grade they moved to Wray. His interests turned to riding and repairing bicycles as well as small engines. This later turned into a lifelong love of diesel engines and semi-trucks. Following his dream, he attended Wyotech in Laramie. When he graduated he moved to Pueblo Colorado and worked for nearly seven years as a tech at MHC Kenworth. He met and made many friends in Pueblo and surrounding areas. On September 10, 2011, he married the love of his life, Cydnee Telck and they welcomed their first child Baily the next year. In 2013, he and his new family moved back to Wray where he began work for Cure Brothers in Idalia, which he called his dream job. After being blessed with their second child, Kameron, they purchased their first house. Michael always enjoyed tinkering in the garage and working on anything. He enjoyed driving the country roads and spending time with many good friends.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Cydnee Pletcher of four years; and their children, Baily and Kameron; his father, Wayne Pletcher & step-mother, Deanna Pletcher; mother Janet Ivins; brothers, Tony Pletcher & wife, Amber and their children, Page and Cole; and Martin Pletcher & girlfriend, Lindsey Jones; sister, Amanda Haskell & husband, Tony and their children, Benton, Nathaniel & Josephine; and grandparents, Sharri & Paul Pletcher.
Preceding him in death was step-father, Mike Stevens.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Wray Elk’s Lodge,36355 U.S. Hwy. 385, in Wray, Colorado, on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve Wynkoop officiating.
