Mary Lou Post was born July 25, 1964 to Pete and Mary Ann Redden. She passed away September 5, 2016 at the age of 52.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Mary was the youngest of eight children. Her siblings include Flora Redden of Commerce City, Colorado, Jane Holsinger of Parker, Colorado, Jim and wife, Sue Redden of Pueblo, Colorado, Pete Redden of Thornton, and Abbie and Denver Redden of Yuma, Colorado.

Mary grew up in Denver, Colorado. At the age of seven, her family moved to Haigler, Nebraska where she lived until the age of sixteen. When Mary was sixteen she moved to an apartment in Wray, Colorado.

When Mary was 23, she met the love of her life at her birthday party, Gary Post. It was pretty much love at first site, for they were married December 18, 1987 in Yuma, Colorado. They were blessed by the birth of one child, Gary Jr.

Mary loved fishing and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Pete and Mary Ann Redden, an older brother, Sam Shuel, her mother-in-law, Alice McCloud and nephew, Bryant Post.

Mary leaves behind her husband of 28 years, Gary Post and a number of other family members and a host of friends.

A Receiving of Family and Friends will be held at the Schmidt-Jones Funeral Home, 427 Adams Street, Wray, Colorado on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 9, 2016, 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Nazarene in Wray, Colorado with Pastor Don Smith officiating.

Interment will be held in the Grandview Cemetery in Wray, Colorado.

Memorials may be made to the Mary Lou Post Memorial Fund, c/o First Pioneer National Bank, 145 W. 4th Street, Wray, Colorado 80758.

Schmidt-Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
