Marylou Brown

Marylou Brown was born in Laird, Colorado on May 27, 1937 to Lena and John Post. Marylou passed away on January, 17, 2025 at Hillcrest in Wray, Colorado.

Marylou was a longtime resident of Wray, CO. She attended grade school in Laird. Marylou worked many jobs in Wray. She was always ready to help anybody when needed. Marylou enjoyed her family and friends.

On November 18, 1953 she married Wilbur Brown in Wray, Colorado officiated by DOJ. Holden, Pastor of Assembly of God. Wilbur proceeded her death on December 6, 2014 Marylou was also proceeded in death by her parents, three sisters, three brothers, one grandson and two granddaughters.

Marylou is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl Moore of Sterling, Colorado and Shirley Rudnik of Brush, Colorado and one son, Mark Brown of Yuma, Colorado. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at Schmidt and Jones Funeral Home in Wray on Friday, January 31 at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Grandview Cemetery.
