Martha June Wilhelme

Martha June Wilhelme was born on April 22, 1945 to Max and Virginia Padilla in Hayden, Colorado.  She was the youngest of seven children.  She completed high school at Cathedral High School, in Denver, Colorado, while living with her mother, becoming a respiratory therapist,  a TSA agent in Hawaii, and later a certified special ed assistant, and obtained an associates degree in child care, working at Boeing Child Care Facility, in Renton, Washington, where she met her husband Robert, in 1997.  They married on  August 11, 2006.  She had a deep, devoted love for children, especially those with special needs.  Martha June and Robert moved to Haigler, Nebraska in 2009.  Martha June never spoke a bad word towards anyone, and was loved by all who knew her. A ray of sunshine even during her most trying moments.

Martha had three children, Michael, who resides in Texas,  David and Sheila, who preceded her in death.  She was preceded in death, by both parents, Max and Virginia Padilla, brothers Abraham and Ramon, sisters Julia, Linda, Suzanne and Theresa.

Martha June is survived by her husband Robert, son Michael Gunterman, grandsons Joeseph and Matthew, stepsons Allen and Joshua Wilhelme, step daughter Tara Jeanne Johnson, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters in law.
