Kitty Arlene (North) Jacobs

Kitty Arlene (North) Jacobs born on April 4, 1939 to Guy Willard (Punk) and Geneva Lorraine (Barrett) North in Wray, Colorado. She passed away suddenly at the Poudre Valley Hospital in Ft. Collins on June 22, 2022. She was one of four children and she grew up in Idalia, Colorado.

On June 6, 1958, she married Richard Jacobs at her family home of her parents. They kept busy raising 3 children, Debra Kay, Connie Sue and Waylon Dean. Kitty lived in Wray most of her married life and enjoyed working in her yard, cleaning houses and sharing her homemade cookies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard Jacobs and brother, Donald Wayne North.

She is survived by her daughters, Debra Bush & husband, Allan; Connie Boden of Morgan City, Louisiana, son, Waylon Dean Jacobs of Greeley, Colorado; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; sister, Janice Elrick & husband, Don; brother, Gary North & wife, Mary Lou; sister-in-law, Zeke North and numerous other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Assembly of God Church at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2022 with Pastor Harold Jackson officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Wray Rehabilitation & Activities Center, 700 Main Street, Wray, Colorado 80758. Cremation was requested.

Schmidt-Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
