Jerome Michael Currier

Jerome M. Currier passed away on August 19, 2021, at his home in Wray, CO. He was born December 5 ^th , 1988 in Denver, CO to Maria Starks Wren and Doug Currier, being raised in the Denver/Seibert area.  He attended High Plains Public Schools in the Vona/Seibert school district and moved to Wray in 2007 to begin his career in the oil industry.    He worked in several areas including the Wray, Greeley and North Dakota vicinities.  Jerome attended St Andrew’s Catholic Church in Wray and enjoyed hunting, fishing and, on his softer side, family, friends, a good laugh and crocheting.

Jerome is survived by his mother, Maria Starks Wren, his beloved daughter, Olivia Currier, brothers, Mark Currier and Victor Starks, along with his dear cousin, Joseph Starks.  He is also survived by his grandmother, Linda Starks, niece, Chloe Currier and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Doug Currier, grandfather, Jerry Starks, grandmother, Esther Currier, cousin, Robert Starks and Olivia’s mother, Brittany Jeffrey.

A Rosary will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the St. Andrew Catholic Church in Wray, Colorado.

Funeral services will be held at the St. Andrew Catholic Church, Wray, Colorado on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Father  Felicien Ilunga Mbala officiating.

Inurnment will be in the Haigler Cemetery in Haigler, Nebraska.

Memorials may be made to the Jerome Currier Memorial Fund, c/o Wray State Bank in Wray, Colorado.
