James Robert Adamson was born March 21, 1986 to Roger L. Adamson and Deborah A Minton in Yuma, Colorado. He was the youngest of four children. James passed away on June 11, 2022 at the age of 36 years of age in St. Francis, Kansas.
As a child, James was a mischievous little boy. I remember when he was just learning to ride a tricycle he couldn’t peddle it so he push it around with his feet, there was this one time when a bull snake was slithering thru the yard he would run it over with the tricycle, he was a fearless little boy. As he grew up he had a lot of friends that he would do almost anything for. He would always help his brothers and sister anyway he could. James especially loved his nieces and nephew. He would always be a goofball when playing with his nieces and nephew.
His niece Tisha wrote: “I’m gonna miss you a lot but the ease the pain for me a little I am gonna keep the little but important memories with me, like the one time on my 12 th birthday when you shoved a cupcake in my face and we both chased each other around the park. Or that one time when grandma, Hailee, you, and I went to St. Francis, Kansas to drop you off. Unfortunately that was the last time I got to see you. I wish I would have given you a bigger hug and I wish that I got to see you one last time. I miss you so much and I also wish that I had said I love you more times than I did. I miss you and love you so much Uncle James.
His niece Brittany wrote: “I wish you were still here with us, we haven’t had much time to see you and spend time with you. I’m gonna miss you being around to play with us and have fun. I miss you so much and I’m always gonna love you Uncle James and keep memories of you in my heart. I know you are in a better place with no more pain.
From your sister Angela, “Brother I wish I could have seen you more often and spend more time with you. The little bit of time we did get to hang out was great times. I will miss talking to you. The fun times that I got to see you being with your nieces that you loved very much and our little conversations is what I miss the most. I know that you are not suffering or having to worry about where you are gonna sleep anymore. I know you are in good hands now and you will be watching over all of us that cared about you and loved you with all our heats. RIP brother, I love you. Until we meet again.
If you were to ask James what his greatest accomplishment was he would say that it wasn’t his etching glass with his beautiful designs, it was being a father. He loved to etch beautiful designs on mirrored tiles for his family and friends. He was an amazing artist when it comes to his etching glass.
He met April Ramm, the love of his life through mutual friends. She says it was love at first site. As their love grew it included her two sons Daniel and Brandon. They were married two days after James’ birthday on March 23, 2010 in Ft Collin, Colorado. They grew close as a family and he loved her boys as if they were his own. They loved him dearly as their father. They had a nickname they always called each other, it was “buttheads” LOL. He was a very caring and loving husband and father and he is truly going to be missed by all that knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Cecil and Alice Adamson, Uncles Lerry Adamson and Jerry Adamson, Aunt Joyce and Uncle Willard, grandparents Charles and Valeta Minton, his Uncle Dean Ferrall, his Aunt Pamela Russell and several cousins.
He is survived by his parents Roger Adamson and Deborah Minton, his brother Michael Adamson and niece Hailee Adamson, brother Cecil (Toni) Adamson, nieces Mersadees Adamson and Madison Furrer and nephew Brady Adamson, sister Angela Adamson, nieces Brittany and Tisha Wolfe, his wife April Ramm and step-sons Daniel and Brandon Ramm, and a host of friends.
