Douglas Currier, 62, was born June 12, 1958 to George and Ester Currier in Reno, Nevada and was the youngest of seven children. He passed away on June 17, 2020 at the Wray Community District Hospital.
As an infant, the family moved to Lakewood, Colorado and Douglas lived his life there and in the greater Denver area.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and camp in his beloved Rocky Mountains with his sons, brothers and life-long buddies. Following high school, he went to Rangely and learned to fly small aircraft, receiving a solo pilot’s license.
He is survived in loving memory by his two sons, Mark and Jerome Currier of Wray, his two granddaughters, Chole and Olivia, brothers George and James, sisters Holly, Bonnie, Penny and Lark, and nephews James “Gus” and Paul.
