Donna Darlene Lanckriet

Donna Darlene Lanckriet of 926 Lincoln Terrace, Wray, CO passed at Hillcrest Care Center on March 4,2017.

After a battle with cancer, she passed peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her loved ones. Donna was born January 26, 1941 to Arthur and Ruby (McVicker) Hahn . She was #5 of 7 children. Her childhood was spent moving around a lot. She lost her mother at a young age and left home to join the workforce.

She started as a waitress until she met and married Jerome Lanckriet and settled in Julesburg, Co to raise their children and she worked as a C.N.A helping others for many years.

She moved to Wray following the death of her husband in 1998.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, her brother, Wendell Hahn of California, sister, Shirley Wilson of Ft. Morgan, Co, sister, Nadine Castle of Peetz,Co, sister, Wanda Goldsmith of Peetz, Co and her son, Jeffrey Lanckriet.

She is survived by brother, Dennis Hahn of Peetz,Co, and sister, Sandy Dickenson of Chappell, NE, her daughter, Sharon Nava of Julesburg, Co, daughter, Peggy Jones of Otis, Co and son, J.D. Lanckriet of Brush,Co and many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held March 25, 2017, 2:00 p.m., at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Peetz, Colorado

Cremation was requested. Schmidt-Jones is in charge of arrangements.
