Debra Ann Stull was born May 2, 1951 in Denver, Co. to Bernadel Rita and Arthur Mason Chamberlain, Jr. Deb was given her wings on April 17, 2021 after a 40 year battle with diabetes. Debbie grew up and attended Wray Schools. She graduated in the Class of 1969. Some of Deb’s highlights during her high school years were: WHS Cheerleader, Majorette, Jr. Homecoming Queen candidate, Sweetheart candidate, Student Council representative, Senior Class Secretary and G.A.A. President. She was also voted best dressed of her senior class. Deb was baptized and confirmed at Saint Andrew’s Catholic Church where she remained a member throughout her life. Her faith was evident in her daily walk.
Deb worked at Seier Rexall Drug, (Foltmer Drug) throughout her high school years at the soda fountain.
After high school Deb enrolled at Western State College in Gunnison.
She was married to Richard Glenn Stull, Jr. (Dick) on July 28,1972 at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Wray. They had two boys, Richard Glenn III, (Trae) and Travis Michael.
She has been blessed with six grandchildren; Kolton, Quincy, Kanyon, Hudson, Hadley & Hank that she adored.
Deb enjoyed gardening, quilting and she had a gift for decorating. She was an animal lover, especially to her little Yorkie, Goose! She never met a stranger and was a loyal friend to her sweet neighbors.
During the years Deb held different positions: Great Plains Chemicals, ASCS Office, Continental Coach, Safeway, Inc., Food Ranch, Yuma Co. Dept. of Social Services, Morgan County Dept. of Human Services.
Deb gave back to her community by serving on many organizations and boards such as President of the Wray Booster Club, President of Mother Seton Church Circle, Wray Alumni President, City of Wray Aquatic Pool Board and Saint Anthony’s Pastoral Council Secretary. Deb was preceded in death by her sister, Jody Lynn Chamberlain, father, Arthur Mason Chamberlain, Jr., step father, Jack Fisher, grandparents, Paul and Emma Gartin, Mother and Father In-laws, Fannie and Richard Glen Stull, Sr., brother, Ronald Mason Chamberlain and mother, Bernadel Rita Fisher.
Debra is survived by her sons, Trae and wife, Cia, and children Kolton, Quincy, Kanyon. Travis and wife Marisa and children Hudson, Hadley and Hank, brother, Kelly Paul Chamberlain, sister, Carmen Jane Hochevar and husband Brian and family. Sister-in-law, Dixie Chamberlain and family.
Rosary and Funeral mass was held at the St. Andrews Catholic Church in Wray, Monday, April 26, 2021.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Pioneer National Bank, 145 W. 4th Street, Wray, Co. 80758.
Schmidt-Jones Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
