Deborah Carol Roberson

Deborah (Debbie) Carol Roberson was born September 29, 1964 to Gary Wayne and Ellen Chloe (McNutt) Roberson, in Hays, Kansas. She passed away peacefully in her home October 10, 2020.

Debbie grew up in Ft. Collins. She grew up riding her horse, Foxy and was very active in sports throughout junior high and high school. She played very competitively in softball and excelled very well in track. Her high school track relay team once held the state record for the 400-meter relay. Debbie graduated from Poudre High School in 1983.

In her younger years, Debbie enjoyed fishing in Gunnison with her dog, Max. She began breeding and raising quarter horses, which was one of her greatest passions.

In 1989, Debbie met and married John Luciano and to this union four children were born; Carol Ashley, Colby Lane, Chazz Lucky, and Colton Wesley. She was a stay at home mother and took exceptional care of her children, which always included never missing out on supporting them in sports all throughout their school years. As her children became older, Debbie began working as a home healthcare provider. She had a deep passion for taking care of the elderly and building lifelong relationships along the way. Above everything, Debbie loved being a grandmother to Tuf, Tynlee and Nova

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Gary and Ellen.

Debbie is survived by her loyal dog, Mojo; her children, Carol Ashley (Luciano) Lilienthal and husband, Ace; Colby Lane Luciano and fiance’, Shawn Ogburn, Chazz Lucky Luciano and Colton Wesley Luciano; three grandchildren, Tuf Gentry, Tynlee Jo, and Nova Mae; three brothers, Duane Roberson and wife, Deb, David Roberson and Daren Roberson and wife, Ronna; nieces and nephew; Carlyn, Duran, Britt Bustos, Cortnee Roberson and Conner Roberson.

A Receiving of Family & Friends will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Schmidt-Jones Funeral Home in Wray, Colorado.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, 10:00 a.m. at the Schmidt-Jones Funeral Home in Wray, Colorado. Interment will be in the Roselawn Cemetery, 2718 E. Mulberry Street, Ft. Collins, Colorado 80553. Memorials may be made to the Debbie Roberson Memorial Fund, c/o Wray State Bank, P.O. Box 277, Wray, Colorado 80758.
