Dallas Duain Lohman, Ii

Dallas Lohman was born in Wray CO, November 12, 1962 to Dallas Duain and Pauline (Cox) Lohman. He lived and worked many places including Ft. Worth, Texas and Greeley, CO before moving back to Wray in 1997. Dallas loved working with his hands. He had an upholstery shop, auto repair shop, worked for E & E Excavating, Firm Automotive, Barbara’s Texaco and many other places before a back injury forced him to give up what he loved most, working on cars. He later found a liking for computers and technology. Dallas attended Morgan Community College where he worked in the IT department while getting his certification in computer technology. With this, he used his newly developed skills helping people and the community with their computer issues.

Dallas passed on November 22, 2019 after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his mother, Pauline Lohman, sister, Christine Richers, and brother, Michael Lohman, three children, Amanda (Cody) Collins, Matt (Erin) Lohman and Codey Spelts (Lacey Rutz), stepchildren, Taylor Merritt and Caleb (Maegan) Merritt, grandchildren, Trinity Howell, Destiny Howell, Kayla Collins, Skyler Collins, Tynan Lohman, Jameson Lohman, Aliyah Lohman and Tayla Lohman, plus many nieces and nephews. Dallas was a kid magnet as he was always glad to have them around to play games with him, watch movies or just hang out and have a conversation. He always had a toy or surprise to give visiting grandchildren to put a smile on their face. Many will miss Dallas, as he was a pure and kind soul.

A Receiving of Family & Friends was held on Saturday, November 30, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the 55 & Over Club (Senior Center), 741 W. 7th Street, Wray, Colorado. Inurnment will be in the Grandview Cemetery in Wray, Colorado.  Memorials may be made to the Dallas D. Lohman II Memorial Fund, c/o First Pioneer National Bank, 145 W. 4th Street, Wray, Colorado 80758. Schmidt-Jones Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
