Cosie L. Tomlinson

Cosie LaVerne Tomlinson(known to the family as Bernie) age 85, passed away at the Hillcrest Care Center in Wray, Colorado on Sunday, November 15, 2015. He had been there for a number of years after having a serious fall. Born July 15, 1930 to Ward A. and Geneva (Blanchard) Tomlinson in Yuma, Colorado. Cosie lived most of his life in Wray. After high school, he served in the military just when the U.S. Army Air Forces was becoming the United States Air Force (July 1948 - July 1952). He was stationed in Germany at that time. He worked for the US Postal Service in Wray and walked the mail route for many years.

He never married or had children. His survivors are his only brother, Ward Tomlinson, and four nieces.

Cremation was requested with no services. Schmidt-Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
