Christopher Kole Peterson. Can I tell you about Kole? Born on November 25th,1985 to father, Mitch Peterson, and mother, April (Peterson) Oestman in Wray, Co, he was Dr. Robert Buchanan’s 1500th delivery. Kole attended grade school and middle school in Wray, Co. He graduated from Chaparral High School in Parker, Colorado in 2004. After earning a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Kole went on to lead water management and cleanup projects. He was a sweet and highly intelligent young man, and his big heart, warm smile and sense of humor quickly won friends over. He had many hobbies and interests that included cooking, gardening, hunting, fishing, camping, saltwater aquariums, beekeeping and the list goes on. He was also an avid Denver Broncos fan. He always livened up family gatherings. Kole just really loved people, and he always had a good story to share. He liked to make people smile.
In 2011, Kole married Diane Genarro Peterson. To this union with his former wife, two beautiful children were born; their daughter, Annabelle, and son, Tucker, whom he loved dearly.
Christopher Kole Peterson departed from this world on October 17, 2025. He was preceded in death by his Granddad, Gary Peterson; Grandparents, Herb and Norma Demoney; and Grandparents, Dallas and Patty Oestman.
Survivors include: Grandparents, Don and Beth Sherlock, Grammie Alberta Peterson, Parents Mitch and Michelle Peterson, and Ronnie and April Oestman. Siblings Justin Peterson and his wife, Samantha; Jared Oestman and wife, Katy; and his sister, Kaci Oestman. Along with numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
