Carl "Peewee/Shorty" Henry Bigner

Carl Henry Bigner was the 4 th child born to Jake and Louise (Tatum) Bigner. Carl was born on March 30, 1942 in Torrington, Wyoming and passed away December 6, 2018 in Wray, Colorado.

Carl was also known to many as “Shorty” or “Pee Wee”.

After school Carl joined The National Guard for two years. When he returned home to Wray, he worked for Rockwell Construction for several years. He then went to work for the Yuma County Road and Bridge until the early 90’s.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents Jake and Louise, and his brothers John and Larry Bigner.

Surviving Carl are his Sister Betty & Husband Dean Perry, Brother Jake & Wife Jean Bigner, and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

A Memorial service will be held at the Schmidt-Jones Funeral Home in Wray, Colorado on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Timothy P. Davis officiating. Inurnment will be held following services in the Grandview Cemetery in Wray, Colorado. Memorials may be given to the Carl H. Bigner Memorial Fund, c/o Wray State Bank, 300 Clay Street, Wray, Colorado 80758.

Cremation was requested.

Schmidt-Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
