Beverly Diane Goodman

Beverly D. (Brenner) Goodman, 68, died on Friday, December 23, 2016, in

Scottsdale, Arizona.

Bev was born on March 10, 1948, in Burlington, Colorado to Raymond C. and

Earlene F. McKee Brenner. She grew up in Idalia, Colorado.

Bev is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Dennis H. Goodman; their

daughters, Kami Rosin and her husband Bob, and Stephenie Lorimer and her wife

Erin; her 4 grandchildren: Dylan Rosin, Joshua Rosin, Aaron Rosin and his wife

Baylee, and Melissa Sowers and her husband Justin; and her 3 grandchildren: Caleb

Sowers, Audrey Sowers and Ryleigh Rosin. She was preceded in death by her

parents and survived by her brothers Darrel Brenner and his wife Rhonda, and

Danny Brenner and his wife Dawn Ann; her uncle Don McKee and his wife Bonnie;

and numerous loved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bev, also fondly known as “Nana”, “ White Dove” and “Bevy Pepper” lived life to the

fullest and everyone who knew her felt her zest…. “Life is a cabernet”, she would

say. Bev exceled in high school, loved cheerleading for the Idalia Wolves and carried

her passion for sports throughout her life including tennis and golf. She found her

soul mate and partner in life at age 17 when she met Denny of Wray, Colorado. Over

the next 50 years they raised their two daughters and discovered their love of

travel. Some of her favorite places include Hawaii, San Francisco, Vegas, Singapore,

Budapest, Santorini, Prague, Bali, Germany and Italy. Hawaii became a special place

for anniversaries and trips with family and friends. She was so pleased have had the

opportunity to take her mother to Germany with Denny, Darrel and Rhonda. Bev

was a woman of faith and cherished her grandchildren…she so loved her adventures

with all of them.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 30, 2016, at St. John’s United

Church of Christ, Idalia, Colorado. Graveside burial will be at Grandview Cemetery

in Wray, Colorado.
