Amber Michelle Irwin (Davis) was born in Denver, Colorado on June 28, 1975. She is survived by her son Brent Davis, her daughter Breanna Davis, her parents Dan and Kay Irwin, brother Lucas Irwin (wife Jen), brother Jarrod Irwin (wife Amy), sister Megan Harlan (husband Justin) and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Her early childhood was spent in Denver and Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a child, she learned to play the piano and loved that hobby. After graduating from high school, she attended college for a year, and then began a career that would last for many years as a real estate closer for a title company. After becoming a mother, Amber’s health deteriorated due to a genetic defect which made it impossible for her to continue as a closer. However, she went back to school and earned a degree as a medical assistant and began working for a cancer clinic in Boulder.
She absolutely loved her time in health care, particularly her involvement with the patients. She invested her medical skills helping them, but found even more fulfillment investing herself in their lives. Her love, compassion and caring attitude, coupled with her understanding and empathy for people who were suffering, made her the perfect fit. She looked at this time as much more than a career, rather as a calling to make what was left in their lives a little easier.
Amber loved her children very much and they were a source of love and joy to her always. She treasured her children and her role as their mother.
Another of the true joys in her life was her Beagle Babies! They were a constant source of love and fun to her and were her ever present companions.
Her recent days were filled with reading and yet another hobby creating needle point gifts that were treasured.
She passed into eternal life on October 29, 2016. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.
We rejoice that she is in the company of her grandmother Bertha and beloved great uncle Jack once again.
We are also greatly comforted to know that Amber received Jesus as her Savior as a young teenager and will be resting with Him until we meet again. Our loss is Heaven’s gain.
