Alta Irene (Haskell) Daschofsky

Alta Irene (Haskell) Daschofsky passed away at the age of 88 years on September 22,2021. She was born the third child of Gerald & Lola Haskell on January 5, 1933 in Beecher Island, Colorado.

She married in 1951 and moved to Boise, Idaho in 1954 where she lived and worked until 2004. She then moved back to Colorado to be near family. Alta liked working in the garden center and especially like African Violets. She would do starters of them and give them to other people to enjoy.

Alta is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Alton Dascholfsky, sister, Clara, brothers, Ben, Leon and Vance, and brother-in-law, Elmer Herrick.

Alta leaves to mourn her passing sister, Eileen Herrick and brother, Stan Haskell, sisters-in-law, Lola May & Dolores Haskell, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Memorial Graveside Service and Inurnment will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at the Glendale Cemetery in Vernon, Colorado with Pastor Curtis Taylor officiating. Memorials may be made to the Anchor Center for Blind Children, 2550 Roslyn Street, Denver, Colorado 80238.
